Community support for our mission of serving the homeless.  We need your financial support, volunteers support, and material support of gently used or new items.

Mission

We are the Fresh Start Emergency Shelter giving support to those who find theirselves temporarily homeless.  Persons coming to our door can expect a hot meal, a shower and change of clothes, a clean, safe place to sleep, information about available services, and a way forward.

We serve all with respect and without discrimination.

Profile

Our shelter, formerly know as The Open Door Community House, contains seventeen bedrooms. Some are single beds, others open into a second bedroom for families. We are handicap accessible.

We have trained social workers available to assist our clients to find their way forward.
