Specific Need

This year's donations will provide pregame meals and halftime snacks to student athletes during football games. Further, your donation will allow the Junction City Blue Jay Football team to attend skills camps, foster team building events, collaborate with area youth football programs, and encourage school pride with football team apparel.

Mission

The Blue Jay Football Club's mission is to provide support for team needs of the Junction City High School football team. This support includes team camps, meals and snacks, fan gear, and team building activities. Further support is conducted by creating opportunities that contribute to the connection between the public, the community and the Junction City High School Blue Jay football team.

Profile

Each year nearly 150 Junction City High School students participate in Blue Jay football. Each week during season, thousands of additional high school students and area fans attend Blue Jay football games to show their support for this dynamic program that showcases community and school pride.

JCHS Blue Jay Football has a rich history of exceptional student athletes and a strong tradition of winning, in the classroom and on the field. In 2023, the Blue Jay Football Club was created to foster financial and community support for this longstanding program of success. Through parent and public efforts, the Blue Jay Football Club provides ongoing team support, nutrition and additional opportunities for players, including team camps, increased parent and student athlete involvement, team and school pride, and community connections. Further, Blue Jay Football Club provides opportunities for team and community engagement activities and fosters parent involvement through volunteer events and family connections.
