In Geary County, our neighbors face food insecurity and limited access to nutritious, affordable food. Our food access index falls below both the state and national average.

One of the ways we’re responding is through our weekly community meals, which provide free, nutritious food to anyone in need. These meals do more than fill plates, they bring people together, offer support, and help strengthen the health of our community.

But we can’t do it alone. Your donation directly supports these communal meals, helping us purchase ingredients, prepare fresh food, and keep this essential program running.

Live Well is organized for the purpose of inspiring and advancing policy, systems and environmental changes that make it easier for Geary County, Kansas residents to lead healthy lives.

At Live Well Geary County, we are developing dynamic, community-based strategies to improve the health of our community residents. Live Well was founded in response to a call for county-wide coordinated action among health and wellness stakeholders. Together we work to close the gaps in services and resources so that there are healthy choices where residents live, learn, work, and play.
