Beef broth, chicken both, chili, gravy, any flavor of canned soup

PASTA

Pasta sauce, mac-n-cheese, ravioli, tomato sauce, tomato diced

FRUITS

Apple sauce, apricots, cranberries, fruit cocktail, mandarin orange, peaches, pears, pie fillings, pineapple, plums, etc.

MEATS

Chicken, hash, salmon, seafood, spam, tuna, vienna sausage

CONDIMENTS

BBQ sauce, ketchup, Mayonnaise, mustard, pickles/olives, salad dressing, peanut butter, jelly, honey

CEREALS

Cold boxed, cream of wheat, oatmeal, breakfast bars, etc. 

MEALS 

Hamburger/Chicken/Tuna helper, Beef Stew, Manwich, etc. 

Mission

Wheels of HOPE (Helping Other People Eat) Inc is a borad-based community effort toward reducing hunger in our community by collecting and distributing food and gocery products, educating our commungity about hunger and collaborating with others who address basic human needs. 

Profile

Wheels of H.O.P.E (Helping Other People Eat) is a 501(c)3 non-profit community service organization established in 2014 to address the food insecurity needs of schoolchildren and their families.  Too many Geary County families are forced to choose between buying food and paying housing or utility expenses.  Some don’t know where their next meal will come from. 

Wheels of HOPE collaborates with USD #475 to target extremely food-insecure families with school children because children cannot learn when they are hungry.  Adequate nutrition helps children perform better academically and experience improved health and wellness outcomes.

Wheels of Hope supplements our local Food Pantry, and solves the transportation barriers that our families face by bringing food to within walking distance of their homes.
