Specific Need

It is with your valued support that we continue to opporate a multi-use historic venue the entire community can be proud of and have a part in keeping it's rich history alive!

Immediate needs:

• Continue to upgrade and maintian our state-of-the-art technical equipment in the theater.  This would include continuation of upgrading the sound system and lighting system.
• Installing new carpet in the Weary Family Theater and foyer areas.
• Upgrading our rental resources such as; smart board technology and surround sound audio systems for projections.

• Season Programming Expenses: Bringing exceptional talent to our stage, offering diverse and high-quality performances for our community.

The entire staff at the C.L. Hoover Opera House is beyond grateful for any contributions that are given to keep the "People's House" one in which we all can be proud to support.

Junction City Opera House, Inc. is dedicated to protecting, preserving, restoring and sustaining the operation of Junction City's historic C.L. Hoover Opera House.  Noted as a state of the art showcase for the performing and visual arts and a resource for civic and community activities.

Profile

Establishing a "Creative Home"  for the arts in our community, the C.L. Hoover Opera House is home to the Theater Arts Academy serving students K-8th grade, Junciton City Arts Council, Junction City Community Band and Junction City Little Theater.

We are committed to keeping the legacy of quality entertainment, civic pride and community alive and well in Junction City. 

While supported by the City of Junction City and Geary County, much of our work is funded by generous gifts from patrons, area businesses, and local foundations.  C.L. Hoover Opera House also has an execellent volunteer group and a dedicated staff working to keep the rich history of our venue at the forefront.
