Your generosity helps individuals and families move from crisis to stability and from survival to hope — creating a ripple effect that transforms our entire community.  This year's specific needs are:

1.  Continuation of established programs and operational support reaching the homeless and working poor

2.  Renovations to the mobile outreach trailer

3.  Support for the new Veteran Outdoor Therapy program

The Magdalene Project is committed to transforming lives by providing dignity, hope, and comprehensive support for individuals and families living in poverty, experiencing homelessness, or striving to break the cycle of generational hardship. Our mission is to empower people with vital resources, targeted services, and community connection—ensuring every Geary County resident has the opportunity to achieve stability and thrive as citizens.

Profile

Every day, The Magdalene Project helps individuals transition from crisis to stability. Whether it’s securing housing, finding employment, overcoming addiction, or reuniting with family — your support creates lasting change in real lives.  Through our person-centered approach, The Magdalene Project provides wraparound services including:

  • Street outreach and case managment to our homeless, struggling, and working poor

  • Goal setting and budgeting during intake

  • Access to healthcare and mental health support

  • Addiction treatment and recovery resources and support

  • Employment and life-skills training

  • Veterans’ assistance and advocacy

  • Permanent housing connections

  • Food recovery and meal programs that fight hunger and reduce waste

Our approach is simple but powerful — meet people where they are, treat them with compassion, and connect them to the tools and community they need to rebuild their lives.
