Profile

The Geary Community Healthcare Foundation is a 501(C) (3) not-for-profit organization founded in 1987. The Foundation has raised over $7.3 Million to support the Geary Community Hospital, Healthcare programs, USD #475, and Junction City.

This year we raised money in June at the 70's/80's event raising $10,000.00 (after expenses), those funds will go to Konza Prairie Health for equipment for their Dental Outreach program that goes out to the Schools and provides exams and needed care onsite.

We just had our Fall Classic Golf Tournament on September 22nd and raised over $46,000.00 (after expenses) to replace the AED machines for Police and Fire departments.

We will have our "Puttin on the Masquerade Glitz" on December 9th to raise money for Suicide prevention/awarness and to assist the Junction City Police Department with the start up of the Co-responder program. This program is where a mental health professional responds with Law Enforcement to assist with persons in mental distress in order to assess and de-escalate situations.

As the Executive Director since January 2021, I am so impressed with the passion that I see daily within the Community of Junction City.  I have enjoyed the connections I have made and will make in the future and excited for the upcoming events. Thankful for a successful golf tournament so we can replace 11 year old AED manchines. I am also very thankful for my board members, golf committee, all our sponsors and volunteers!
